Whispers of love: A puzzle untangled

By Mirriam Manka

In the realm of hearts, we once did meet,
Two souls entwined, destiny’s sweet feat.
Like puzzle pieces, we found our place,
Fit so perfectly, with love’s embrace.

But fate’s design had different plans,
A bittersweet melody, life’s intricate dance.
For though we fit, like pieces in sync,
Our union, alas, was not meant to link.

We soared on wings of passion’s fire,
Moments cherished, our souls inspired.
But as the winds of time whispered their plea,
Our paths diverged, setting us both free.

Oh, the ache of letting go, a tender pain,
Two hearts intertwined, now separate again.
We were like whispers in the night, so divine,
But never meant to stay, our love’s confine.

Yet, the memories we share, forever remain,
A tapestry woven, an eternal refrain.
For in those moments, our souls did ignite,
A love so pure, a celestial light.

We were like two pieces of the same puzzle,
Fit so perfectly, our connection a marvel.
But life’s grand design, we cannot defy,
And so we part, with a heartfelt goodbye.

But in the depths of our souls, we’ll forever keep,
The love once shared, a treasure so deep.
For even if apart, our spirits intertwine,
We were meant to meet, for a fleeting time.

So let us cherish the moments we shared,
For in that love, we were truly paired.
Two pieces of a puzzle, united for a while,
Two pieces of a puzzle. A testament to love’s enduring style.
